Put all these together and you get Exodus, a professionally mixed and mastered compilation from the "realest nigga alive" (in his own words), Tupac Amaru Shakur. This CD is packed with everything from old timeless hits to brand new radio joints from the man himself, with a few exclusive remixes from Mr Helix. With the exception of only one or two tracks (out of the entire 30 track selection), every track was modified, edited, added to, or remixed in some way or another. Most of the edits are not some corny addition to a tired track, but they are there for an important reason. I took out ALL guest appearances from the cd except for the Biggie verse on the RIP mix and the Khadafi verse on Rear View. I did this because I want this cd to showcase 2pac and 2pac only - although the guest appearances might be great verses, I just wanted to keep Pac raw and rugged. This will be the final 2pac compilation that I see myself ever releasing, so I made sure to make it perfect in every way possible. After completing it at first, I went to my car, parked in an abandoned lot, bought a 6 pack of Natural Ice 16 oz cans, and got drunk as fuck with a notepad to write down any errors or changes I should make. Less than a week later I ended up with the final 72 minute version. For anyone who liked Legend of a Prophet or for anyone just starting to listen to 2pac, I hope this CD will stay in your car or home stereo for years to come - even if only a handful of people enjoy it, it's still worth the 7 months I put into it. If you want a real copy (I actually made cd labels for the actual cd, and jewel cases and covers - they look real nice) like I made for my friends, maybe we can work something out.
