It's one of those hard-to-find, independently released gems that has become increasingly difficult to find in recent years - hence this remastered digital reissue from Isle of Jura. We get all four of the original mixes, starting with short and long versions that combine classic electrofunk and electro tropes (echoing drum machine beats, squelchy synth bass, bright synth stabs and impassioned male vocals) with waves of steel pan melodies. It's unusual, but also genuinely brilliant.
