Beginning in early 2010, Apollo has gained recognition for becoming one of the
rising artists in Oregon. Starting in the small town of North Bend, Apollo was
publicized in local newspapers and played on local radio stations, and now
wants to further their reach. Often Compared to Circa Survive, and Pierce The
Veil has gained a reputation of being ôan original
soundö The music being the main focus of the band was given a window of
experimentation, grounded rhythmically with diverse bass and drums, along with
coordinated ambient guitars and the voices of every member in the band. Aided
with the help of their front man Tyler Mansfield, Apollo self recorded their
first album the ôApollo EP, which included six songs, and two instrumentals.
In June of 2012, Apollo recorded a full length album with Kris Crummett of
Interlace Studios (sleeping with sirens, issues ;etc), after finishing
recorded was able to play the Ernie Ball Stage of the Vans Warped Tour, then
after travelled south to begin touring the west coast.
The debut of the new album "We Must Be Feeling The Full Moon" released in
2013, featured 11 songs and a much more unorthodox approach to writing, making
it Apollo's first real full length album. The band considers this the first
official album of their career. Stay tuned for the rest of 2013 where Apollo
plans on making their mark and translating the language of their sound that
hasn't been articulated until now.
