In 2001, with a similar line-up to the current one, they started to set their sound as post-grunge. In 2003/2004 several changes happened; a new voice and the introduction of a violin resulted in a change from post-grunge to Alternative Rock-Metal style. After years of progression, many musical influences were gathered resulting in a very personalized and varied sound which includes moments of anger and frustration in heavy riffs mixed up with melancholy in an ambient aura. The guitar melodies, a powerful rhythm section, an eccentric violin and many different vocalizations are essential when reaching this level of compromise. The band is often requested to perform in several types of venues: indoors, outdoors, pubs or festivals. They achieved three first places in band competitions, won a public prize and were included in several compilations. On October 5th 2007, they launched their self-made EP, recorded, produced, mixed and mastered by the band, without access to professional staff, space or material wich was very well accepted, making the band come up with a second edition. After three years in the making, Ecila comes to life in Zero Estudio, where the band travels through the distorted world of Wonderland...do you dare to follow the White Rabbit?
