Focusing on warm and evocative sequences and simple proto-techno structures, Bluetech restricted his sound palette to purely analog sources like the extremely rare Macbeth Elements and ubiquitous Buchla Music Easel and focused on allowing the pure tonalities to guide the unfolding and hypnotic pieces. From the minimal pulse of 'Spectral Chromatophone'  to the Berlin school sequencer workout of 'Nudibranch Symphony', this release adds a new chapter to Bluetech's extensive discography of hyper detailed and melodic electronic music.  Keeping true to the vintage sci-fi aesthetic of Ovoid Crafts, Octopod Metropolis features original artwork designed by Bluetech.
