Having formed in 1986, the group wove synths and drum machines into their dark musical tapestry, giving their work a Bauhaus-like light and shade. The mass of backing vocals that sometimes rise up behind co-founders Alan Rider and Kleo Fanthorpe suggest theyÆd also locked a group of monks in the studio for at least one session. Point Of Change is actually a surprisingly good initiation into the bandÆs work, with the likes of Legion capturing the spirit of the genre while also boasting commercial nous.
