A Farewell to Humanity 4:58 release notes: Regurgitated into Existence is an exercise in filthy old-school Death Metal that mixes in Finnish and Swedish influences, sounding something akin to an unholy orgy between Purtenance, Entombed, and Slugathor. The riffs are shamelessly heavy and crispy, the drums simple but powerful, the solos surprisingly limited, and the vocals something akin to Santa Claus continuously vomiting after drinking too much spiked eggnog on Christmas Day. They occasionally step out of their comfort zone and get a bit more melodic and even melancholic, as they do on the ominous closing track "A Farewell to Humanity", but this is mostly a murky and straightforward album that adds nothing new at all, and that's ok. Sometimes, you just need a band that wants nothing more than to make some fucking Death Metal, and on their debut, Deathgoat show they're just the band to do that.
