Kirill Holmov aka Digital Mess has been a fixture of the global progressive scene for the better part of two decades. First emerging in 2008 Digital Mess was introduced to the world via storied imprints such as Moonbeam Digital and System Recordings, before finding a more permanent home on Capital Heaven, DAR and Eternal Beats. SLC-6 Music has also served as a vehicle for Kirill's progressive techno sound, with the elusive artist making his label debut in 2021 and eventually going on to record four original productions and a remix. Now on the strength of an EP for Mango Alley, Digital Mess makes a welcome return to SLC-6 Music with a four-track showcase entitled 'Strange Rain'. The title selection sets the tone for the release with tough punchy beats, prophetic design qualities and a stark dystopian style narrative. Meanwhile, 'Skin Frost' is sure to capture the imagination of your dance floor with rugged chord stabs, flickering percussive arrangements and an emotive break to send people home with a smile.
