It is a continuation of his work in Blutschrei, one which finds him creating a new genre: Blackened Hard Rock. It sounds strange, but that's the best way to describe the material here. The production is, of course, the type of low-fi buzz you'd find on his Horna/Sargeist releases, but the songs themselves are mid-paced to slow, with simple, cyclic riff patterns and vocals which are half croaked, half-sung, under a massive sheet of reverb. On first listen it sounds catastrophic, but now and then there are some catchy segments that remind you that this is related to the Black Metal scene, where Shatraug's vocals become more like the type of thing you'd expect when seeing the cover. Problem is, the riffs themselves are melodic, but they are played in a dirty, dissonant style, rendering them completely void.
