Release Note ......::
Amsterdam's coveted FORMAT returns with a fresh slice of techno funk by
Argentinean producer Flug. FORMAT's latest offering sees Flug throwing down his
signature techno sound across three tracks, all of which are centered around
stripped grooves and menacing fx. First up is 'Obscure Cells', which combines
an infectious synth arp to an ever evolving groove with the outcome being a
very hypnotic track. 'X28' turns things up a notch with a powerful offbeat
groove and mental synth squeaks, while the highly energetic 'TRIP02' marks a
venture into Detroit techno territory. A highly diverse EP of A grade quality,
this one... FORMAT's ninth release has become another dancefloor damaging piece
of work...
