It was in early 2019 when the Band debuted with "...of Serpentine Forces", a
back to basic album, primitive but effective. The album was well-received within
the underground and highly recommended by many. After the "Infernum et
Necromantium" EP in 2020 the two Scythe-wielders, Hurricane Hellfukker (founder,
vocalist, ex-ZARATHUSTRA/CRUEL FORCE) and Mortⁿⁿm (drums and percussion,
COUNTESS) are back with an additional session-line up from the Netherlands and
Italy, making it an international formation once again. In total, the band
recorded 15 Songs, 10 of these are used for "Ophidian Kult", the remaining 5
Songs (4 new one/1 Cover Song from 1992) will be pressed unto another EP in
early 2022: "Miasma of a Damned" Soul" will be lyrically rooted in Greece
Mythology and musically inspired by early greecian 90s black metal bands.
"Ophidian Kult" is Illum Adora's second march into infinity and another strong
reminiscence to old glorious days, combining all vicious aspects of old school
black, death, thrash, heavy and doom metal. Their flames of wrath will burn
forever...
