Ayrshire-born, Glasgow-based producer Isa Gordon previously appeared
on Optimo Music with the Resili project, and when she sent the demo of
this album to Twitch he knew he wanted to release it before he had got
half way through it. Of recording the album, Gordon has stated it came
about in the lockdown winter in 2020, seeing consistency in the beats
and motifs that she"d been working on and spent a few months weaving
together the tracks into a coherent album. Whether it"s the dreamy,
off-kilter chug of "A Coin In The Bush", the musique concrete of
"Isolee With Sarah", the complex beats of "For You Only" or the
massive drums of "Definitely Defy" - this is next level programming
and sound design but with soul and musicality.
