More straight-to-the-point and no-fuss electro from Pulse Drift, who
this time welcome Lloyd Stellar to their charge. 'Randomized
Lifeforms' is the conceptual underpinning of this horribly dystopian
electro EP: for those who are confused, anyone who's seen any of David
Cronenberg's latest films will have an idea what the term 'randomized
lifeform' means and looks like in practice. Back to the sonic content:
'Implantable Brain Machine Interface' sounds like one of old Croney's
psychedelic imaginings, with slippery wet sounds undulating between
cage-like beats, a dialogue between the organic and the inorganic.
'Modular Planets', similarly, speaks vocoded English to us,
robotically banging on about entire planets which we might be able to
subject to our digital whims.
