Kule T and Dee-Tails, UK black pop group MN8 made a major breakthrough in 1994 with the release of "I've Got A Little Something For You". A strangely threatening swingbeat tune, it nevertheless saw the group, who are based in Surrey, England, become firm favourites with the nationÆs teenagers. The follow-up single was "If You Only Let Me In", another example of the groupÆs catchy swingbeat soul. The accompanying video featured the group's lascivious dance routines - already one of their most recognizable traits. They subsequently joined Janet Jackson on her European tour and continued to appear regularly on UK television. The group's 1995 debut album, "To The Next Level", demonstrated a greater versatility than might have been anticipated from the group's singles, and included a Walt Disney-style ballad in "Pathway To The Moon" alongside more soul-based material such as "Lonely" and "Happy".. "I've Got A Little Something For You", written by American record producer and composer Markantoney J. Taylor, better known by his stage name DJ Vintage Future, and produced by Dennis Charles and Ronnie Wilson. It was released in 1995, peaking at #2 on the UK Singles Chart. This song is in keeping with their smooth R&B sound and remains their biggest hit to date. Their only other two singles to reach the UK Top 10 were the follow-ups, "If You Only Let Me In", which made #6, and "Happy", which made #8.
