musical talents of five very creative individuals who write and perform their own material. Organized in 1972 in Baltimore, Man's Theory is comprized of Charles Gentry (lead guitar, vocals), Stephen Carter (alto and soprano saxes, percussion, vocals), Eustaquio Palabon (drums, percussion, vocals). Mike Taylor (bass, vocals), and Marcus Van Glaggett (lead vocals, flute). When record producers Mike Felder and Bill Daniel were scouting for new talent, the one the name that was recommended to them most often by musicians and DJs in the Baltimore area was Man's Theory. One listen convinced Mike & Bill, who recorded "Just Before Dawn" by the group for Rollers Productions. Now it's time for listeners throughout the country to ger an earful of Man's Theory. Every song on their excellent LP signals the arrival of a major new group well worth hearing, from the powerful rhythms of "Hard Times", "Creek", and the explosive "You Talks A Good Talk" to the bellow beauty of "What Can I Do" and "I've Always Needed Someone Like You".
