New York-born Marc Anthony is the top selling salsa artist of
all time, and is, according to the New York Times, the
"reigning king of salsa", "someone who can compete with the
greatest pop singers of the 20th century" with "absolute
command of the music and the arena". He has managed to
balance his music career with a thriving acting career,
delivering critically acclaimed performances on Broadway and
in film. He is set to release Sigo Siendo Yo, a collection of
his greatest hits, and two new songs in July, and stars in
"El Cantante", a film inspired by the life of Hector Lavoe,
currently in production.
