Codefendants) [ 1:40] .Releasenotes .............................................................. Hey yÆall, Fat Mike here.... NOFX never finished our last album. Boo! But we did manage to record drums and guitars on several songs and out of those, I finished vocals on four of them. This is one of those songs, also... I liked the lyrics on this song a lot, but it needs two singers to sing them. I tried it with Melvin, but it was kinda poopee. So I asked the singers of my other band The Codefendants to sing this song with me cuz they are experienced at singing songs that have way too many lyrics in them.... Some people call it rapping. I also got a Mexican that I used to be in a band with to play some guitar leads. These leads make my ears happy. Thanks Hefe. In conclusion, thereÆs not a lot of new NOFX songs. I think thereÆs five or six left that I need to finish.... but I donÆt wanna.... so enjoy this one. ItÆs all there is for a while.... IÆm smiling right now... ôSince this NOFX song was recorded so early in the process of making the first Codefendants album, the whole experience felt surreal to me. The track had that classic hardcore / crossover energyùwhich reminded me of Suicidal Tendencies in the 80sùand there was Fat Mike himself coaching Sam and me through these dense, fast lyrics heÆd written about the Trump Q era of disinformation and anti-intellectualism. I believed in the message completely, but what really struck me was how rare and cool the opportunity was. It was one of those life-changing moments in music where I thought: even if nothing ever came from these recordings, just having been there was enough. Now, years later, seeing it finally come out makes it all the more special.ö - Julio ôCeschiö Ramos ............................................................................ LET'S GET READY TO RUMBLEEEEE!
