Showcasing their vibrant melodic pop sound across two original tracks, the royal remix treatment comes courtesy of kingpin Solomun and Diynamic virtuoso, Stimming. The Pool story began when band members Daniel Husten, Nils Hansen and David Stoltzenberg joined forces last summer in their native Hamburg. Since then, they have toured with Digitalism around Europe, taken part in the Diynamic 5 Years showcase at the BerMuDa Festival in Berlin and played shows with Gold Panda, Jamaica, Wild Nothing and The Hundred In The Hands. A classic three-piece band of guitar, bass, drums and vocals, these young musicians caught the ever-open ears of Diynamic label boss Solomun and the resulting package is another seamless blend of breezy indie tunes and club ready basslines. Title track æGame OverÆ is a straight up pop song with powerful chords, pumping basslines, floating drums and catchy vocals that immediately hook you in with irresistible charm. In the remix Solomun solely lifts the vocal for his funky interpretation employing signature sparkling synths, dashing drums and a smooth bassline to move the dancefloor. The EP┤s second original by Pool, æDon┤t Call My NameÆ, is a dreamy atmospheric groover and the perfect counterpart to æGame OverÆ. With a warm verse of soft bass guitar and sleek vocals, the chorus instantly charms in between the rise and fall of the rhythmic breaks.
