Victor Pekishev, an experienced DJ and producer originating from Tallinn but currently residing in Scotland, is not a newcomer to the scene of electronic dance music. In contrary, he was already named Estonia's best Techno DJ, has two full-length longplays in his discography ("Colors" and "Biosphere") and numerous works released on various labels including D-Lab Records, Aquavit Records, Bonzai Progressive, Extraphone and Mint and Mustard Recordings. Victor himself describes the sound of Rebus Project as "deep, calm and pleasant immersion into the world of bright and warm Deep House filled up with appropriate meaning ". The track "Infinity" totally corresponds with this description. This is a deliberate, hypnotic mantra attracting with its sense of peace and pacification. Inside of this production, Victor uses a very rare element which is not characteristic for the domestic club scene - Russian spoken word. "Imagine yourself laying on the warm sand and enjoying the soft ambience of the sea, muffled squalls of the gulls flying over the waves, light breeze, mellow light and total serenity", - the monotonous vocoder-processed voice speaks.
