**Individually numbered edition of 100
copies only for the world - never to be
re-pressed. Double 3" CD package housed
in beautiful bespoke packaging** Cotton
Goods seduce with a delicate treat for
eyes, ears and fingers from
Yorkshireman, Dave Horner aka Relmic
Statute. His is a magical, richly
cinematic world of sound, remote and
pastoral with a sense of quietude and
patience appropriate to the settings he
evokes. The first of his two discs is
'5Cassette Recording', an abstracted
twenty one minute tale of tinkling
glassy melody and creaking, wooded
ambient space inhabited by friendly
poltergeist and occasional, stray voices
from a radio just out of earshot. It's
genuinely eerie, but with a beautifully
comforting resolution that saves it from
the brink of outright scary. Meanwhile,
the second disc contains three
relatively shorter, sweeter
compositions. There's the delicious
music box and drone melancholia of
'Luthrimel 3', beside the suspended
ferric ambience of 'Floor 3 Room 1-06'
and the heartwarming piano, field
recorded textures and static crackles of
'Archive Weather'. Hurry if you want
