Swiss deep house veteran Replika made his Scruniversal debut with a
track on the 'Scuniversal Tunes 001' EP last year, and now he returns
to the label with a four-tracker of his own. The 'Falling Apart EP' is
a pretty mellow affair, with 'Before The Storm' a midtempo, jazz-funk
tinged instrumental jam, 'Super Moon' a low-slung, low-tempo funk
workout with "party!" shouts, 'Falling Apart' itself a dreamy, hazy
affair with sparkly keys and sampled female vocal snips and 'Love And
Hate' a drifty post-club kinda groove: dancefloor euphoria may be in
short supply but it all adds up to 24 minutes of very pleasant
listening.
