It's so old that it ░░ ░░ originally just came out as a vinyl LP. (You can ask your parents what ░░ ░░ "vinyl" is). Fans have been asking for it for years. Now we'll find out ░░ ░░ if they'll actually buy it -- or just copy it from a friend like most ░░ ░░ of the other Ripcordz albums. It was recorded at various university ░░ ░░ studios around Montreal and was paid for entirely with dimes and ░░ ░░ quarters (about $700 worth). The album has the same wall of distortion ░░ ░░ guitar and gravelly vocals as the band's other releases. But there are ░░ ░░ differences as well. This album is equal amounts Punk and Garage -- ░░ ░░ representing the band's early sound. The CD also includes six bonus ░░ ░░ tracks from the '86 recording session. A couple of tunes that were re- ░░ ░░ recorded in different forms for later albums, and some unreleased ░░ ░░ songs. ░░ ░░ ░░ ░░ The Ricordz have been making music since 1980 and have had several ░░ ░░ releases and a host of club appearances to their credit before the ░░ ░░ summer of 1988 when they started applying themselves full-tilt to ░░ ░░ changing the face of music as we know it.
