Originally, "Steady And Cool" took us on a "Journey Through Funky Sound", and it was a "Funky One", as the "Keeper(s) Of The Funk" gave us 8 albums to enjoy. Evidently, the rap game didn't pay enough. They said I don't like "How I'm Living", and decided to rob PNC Bank, along with Mark Canty. Upon entry, Cool & Canty said "Get On Down", and ordered the manager to open the vault and "Pay Me Baby". Money in hand, unbeknownst to the silent alarm being triggered, they attemted to leave, when police officer Lauretha Vaird responded. Canty yelled to Cool C.. that "Girl's Gonna Getcha", when he said bitch "U-Za-Flea", I'm on "The Warpath" with a "Licence To Kill", and shot her, fatally in the chest. The 2 then ran to the get away car, where Steady was waiting, and proclaimed hit the gas "And U Don't Stop". After a mere 3 days, the rappers turned gangsters were arrested (Canty 3 weeks later). Cool has been on death row ever since, Steady & Canty serving life, forever chanting "I Ain't Goin' Nowhere". *The cd jacket and back cover list track 11 as Hustler Mac, which is a mistake... as the track is nowhere on the album. Tracklist printed on the cd, itself, is correct. Track 9 features Cool C and 2 other guys who are either E Marbles, Jo-Jo Dancer or Mentally Gifted.. your guess is as good as mine.
