Aside from his involvement with Hood, The Remote Viewer and The Boats, Craig has made time over the last eleven years to sketch these twelve barely-there tape vignettes, capturing for posterity the presence of ghostly melodies shrouded in a rich swirl of ferric interference. Operating in a hazy zone somewhere behind the shadows of Pole, William Basinski and Wanda Group, these pieces make a virtue of tape's infidelities and sensitivity to sleight of hand, caressing warm bass shapes and fragments of lingering phrases which seem to flit in the half- light like dust dancing brownian in a shaft of dawn/twi-lit rays. It's beautifully modest and understated music, highly recommended to fans of life's subtler joys.
