The latter applies to The Bunny The BearÆs new record, Afterglow, which truly has something for everyone. Their latest offering was recently released by Ghost Killer Entertainment on October 9, 2020, and is sure to be a crowd pleaser for a wide variety of audiences. The Bunny The Bear are no rookies in the game of music. Having been established since 2008 by Matthew Tybor (The Bunny), the band have amassed a discography of 8 studio albums, two extended plays, and 13 singles to date. Their latest effort proved to be one of their most well written and produced yet. The album kicks off with the rock infused EDM track ôFuturesö, displaying TyborÆs hardcore-style delivery of unclean vocals in full fashion. Jake Reeves (The Bear 5.0) brought his vocal prowess to the limelight, delivering a wide range of clean vocals that could go anywhere from falsetto to full on belting. The album is an easy listen and passes time quickly - itÆs so well orchestrated that the 38 minute runtime will lapse before you know it. Afterglow is laden with catchy hooks that have instant replayability. One great example is ôAt The Topö, where ReeveÆs hook in the chorus made it a standout track and a solid addition to the ever-expanding Spotify playlist. The instrumental delivery was just as solid as the vocals, with guitar tracks provided by Gage Way, David Scordato, and Doug White. Tybor also provided bass tracks for the record in a show of world class musicianship and versatility. Afterglow will have an effect on everyone who listens - whether itÆs an immediate hit or one that slowly grows, itÆs versatile enough to accommodate even the most casual of listeners while still retaining songwriting and orchestration prowess that would appeal to a hardcore music nerd. These songs could just as easily be featured on a pop radio station as they could on the underground alternative rock circuit, and everything in between.
