While Hood is currently on a long term hiatus since 2005, Richard Adams has focused on various musical projects, mainly recording under the moniker of The Declining Winter but also as member of Memory Drawings and Great Panoptique Winter, who released their great debut album on Sound In Silence earlier this year. To date The Declining Winter has released four albums, Goodbye Minnesota (Rusted Rail, 2008), Haunt The Upper Hallways (Home Assembly Music, 2009), Lost Songs (Sanity Muffin, 2013) and Home For Lost Souls (Home Assembly Music, 2015). Since 2007 and under the same moniker, he has also released one remix album, many EPs and singles and one split EP with Isnaj Dui, on labels such as Misplaced Music, Mobeer, Secret Furry Hole, Monopsone and Rural Colours or self-released in limited handmade editions. On Endless Scenery he presents nine new wonderful tracks, ranging widely from bedroom lo-fi pop to pastoral post-rock.
