Syndrome 7:37 release notes: Tower is a Polish band founded in 1994 (originally as Gothic Flowers) by Piotr Kolleck, who together with the bands Aion, Medebor, Sirrah and Sacriversum co-created the heavier part of the Gothic Metal scene in Poland. In the 90s, the group released two very well-received albums: "The Swan Princess" (1998) and "Mercury" (1999). Unfortunately, the band broke up in 1999. In 2020, the Tower band officially returned. Hope is the third material released after Raven and Uriel since the resurrection of the project led by Piotr Kolleck. It was expected that Hope would develop the previous album, turning out to be a classic step further, and so it happened. The leader of Tower , together with guest musicians, develops the sounds from Uriel at the expense of shouting and the rasping of guitars. There are not many metal parts - they coexist with the opera and keyboards, they are a complement and contrast to the dreamy vocal parts, violins, piano and drum rhythms. Hope will not satisfy fans counting on rhythmic, guitar music in the style of Mercury . The compositions are built in a way that is not overly complicated, but they are loaded with additions and various flavors. Despite such an arrangement key, they remained legible.
