Shivu Taralagatti - Aiso Chanchal 08:13 Runtime 59:41 min Size 80,5 MB Release Notes: The Trance Planet series, like similar compilations, is essentially world music's answer to the chill-out albums. Low key, pleasant, solid, but with very little to challenge the mind ù instead, just to let it drift along. And while it's all well and good to juxtapose Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan and Issa Bagayogo, or Hasna el Becharia and Beatriz Pichi Malen, the feeling is you're not getting the best tracks from any of them, but the ones that drop readily into the format. There's certainly nothing wrong with the music here; it flows easily and languidly enough. But an hour later you're hard-pressed to remember any of the individual pieces ù it's merely the mood that remains. Which, in the long run, maybe doesn't do anybody any favors.
