Following the ▄ ▄ band's return to their harder rocking ways on Driving Off The Edge Of The ▄ ▄ World, here on their Z Records debut, the band do a 180 and unplug ▄ ▄ themselves for a 10 track Best Of release. ▄ ▄ Tracking through each of their previous records with a couple of tracks ▄ ▄ from each (including one track off their last album) this album, is ▄ ▄ acoustic all the way. ▄ ▄ The new versions are for the most part very close to their original form, ▄ ▄ just unplugged and acoustic. ▄ ▄ All tracks are transformed successfully, but it is the 2 tracks from what I ▄ ▄ consider their best ever album that also sound the best here. Fooling ▄ ▄ Yourself and Tell It To Me are both from the Test Of Faith album. Arguably ▄ ▄ their finest moment in songwriting, even if some fans thought it too soft. ▄ ▄ (Shame on you!) ▄ ▄ ▄ ▄ An enjoyable album, yet not one with a lot of attitude or 'presence'. ▄ ▄ Instead, standard acoustic renditions of their favourite tunes.
