On October 3, 2025, Warper is set to release their debut full-length album,
Something, Sometime, via Candlepin Records. The band has already released the
single "Pull" from the upcoming LP. Warper is an alternative rock from
Colorado, characterized as "downer shoegaze" for its blend of heavy,
distorted instrumentation and melancholy lyrics. Formed by Jack McManaman
(vocals, guitar, bass and primary songwriter) and Adam Gilsdorf (drums) the
group has released multiple EPs and singles, gaining traction within the
Colorado indie and shoegaze scene. The band frequently works with producer
Corey Coffman (Gleemer), who records, mixes, and produces their releases in
Loveland, CO. Coffman also provides backing vocals and percussion on some
tracks. The new LP will contain 9 songs blending elements of guitar heavy
melancholy alt-rock, shoegaze, dream pop, slowcore and emo, with layered
instrumentation, dreamy melodies, and hooks, that is sure to please fans of
Gleemer, Seer Believer, Ridgeway, Souvenirs, All Under Heaven and the like.
