This album is like the apocalypse of the human mind, like a tsunami, like a bloodbath in an abandoned village. When I'm listening the words like crazy, extremely morbid, totally energetic are coming into my mind. If someone knows how this place will look like after a nuclear explosion, so this is just DOBYTCI MOR! For me personally a huge surprise and absolute death grind experience! Excellent album! -- It is traditional take on death-grind in the style of CARCASS, NAPALM DEATH, DISFIGURED CORPSE, NASUM, and UPRISE. For grind, ôDobytciö are quite diverse; they have an excellent, dirty, hazy sound. They take heavy riffs from death metal and a ton of energy from grind into every song. This is their third full-length this year, and once again itÆs very accessible and enjoyable for any fan of musical carnage. Compared to the previous album, itÆs a bit more polished, maniacal, and insane. Last time, I occasionally found moments where my mind took a break. This time, however, IÆm completely absorbed. And consider this: IÆm usually rather detached from grindcore stuff. I like a certain darkness, perhaps pulled from somewhere in a meat-processing plant, and then the immense pressure. IÆm dancing around the room like St. Vitus, enjoying the electric shocks bursting from every note, and very often clenching my fists in the same stance as the guy on the killer cover art. I search in vain for any flaws or inconsistencies that might bother me on the recording. Of course, itÆs necessary to let go of thoughts about the musicÆs ôlack of originalityö. Even so, I think DOBYTCI MOR often offers more than some of ôtheir role modelsö. As a whole, ôPenury Eats Handlyö is absolutely killer. ItÆs a brutal response to all the filth in todayÆs world. The guitars are sharp, like the blades of demolition axes. Endless suffering of the victims echoes from the slaughterhouse. Pieces of still-warm meat fly through the air, and the butchersÆ heavy boots trample the remnants of spilled brains. You jump again and again from the stage, where the last trio to survive this infection is rampaging. "Hergot": I really didnÆt expect this! I mutter under my breath, and IÆm starting to find it a chore to write anything further. IÆd much rather spin the CD over and over in the player. The only thing that doesnÆt sit right with me is the last song, "Formalin," which is a bit too melodic for my taste. DOBYTCI MOR have delivered us a thoroughly rotten piece of infected meat this year. The intricate death/grind tracks will sink their teeth into your throat like a really angry pit bull.
